Our History
In 2007, Patrick and Luevenia Chapman left their corporate careers to answer a higher calling and founded Hearts with Hope Foundation, bringing sound business practices to their non-profit. Their goal was to provide a safe and nurturing environment for children and adolescents experiencing time in foster care. The focus is on creating an atmosphere of normalcy for children through evidence-based trauma-informed care, training, and treatment.
Our Story
Co-founded by Patrick and Luevenia Chapman in 2007, Hearts With Hope Foundation is a General Residential Operation(GRO) that serves girls ages 7-17.
After a long successful work history in corporate America, Patrick and Luevenia Chapman decided it was time to pay-it-forward and do more for those less fortunate. Not knowing exactly what God’s plan was for them, they knew that it would involve children. The Chapmans stepped out on faith and started Hearts with Hope to help children who were abused, neglected and needed a safe, clean and caring environment to live.

Vision Statement
Hearts with Hope’s vision is that each child that enters our care will exit with skills to develop and sustain healthy relationships, advocate for their needs in socially appropriate ways, and have a purpose and vision for who they are and what they can do in life.
Our Mission
Using evidence-based support and services, our mission is to provide a home with a safe, supportive, and structured environment that helps youth heal from the mental and physical impacts of childhood trauma where they can build trust in healthy relationships, grow hope for a purposeful life with skills and pathways for adult independence bridging successful connections with the community, while supporting long term family stability for their well-being.
We serve children in crisis regardless of their race, religion, or national origin.

Who We Serve

Girls ages 7-23 requiring foster care, rehabilitation, and treatment services to address child-hood trauma from abuse, neglect, substance abuse, or family crisis situations.
