HWHF Current Operations
Hearts with Hope Foundation (HWHF) is a licensed, accredited, 24-hour, non-profit organization with 501c3 status dedicated to serving at-risk children and adolescents in the foster care system. HWHF’s General Residential Operation (GRO) and Transitional Living Program currently serves ages 7-23.
We currently have two homes that sit on our 5-acre campus. The Learning Center is also planned for this same lot, to be located behind the two existing homes.
Our vision is that each child that enters our care will exit with skills to develop and sustain healthy relationships, advocate for their needs in socially appropriate ways, and have a purpose and vision for who they are and what they can do in life.
These five focuses are currently making a difference in outcomes for youth residing at Hearts with Hope:
- Relational Permanency – Find a safe connected adult that becomes a lighthouse for the child as they navigate their movement into adulthood.
- Equipping with Purpose – Equipping with life skills & the youth’s vision for a purposeful future.
- Family Support – Supporting the needs for family of origin or foster placements through community partners helping prevent re-entry into foster care & break generational cycles of trauma.
- Community Connection – Improving access to jobs, spiritual connections, and support organizations who understand the impacts of trauma make community pathways more sustainable.
- Youth Voice – Our youth voice program shares power with the youth in our home creation powerful negotiation skills, confidence and commitment in our youth.
